This program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on improving not only basic motor, listening, and life skills, but challenges the student by adding more of the traditional martial arts training and increasing the level of intensity.

Students in the Junior Karate program will work toward earning a Junior Black Belt using a curriculum specific to their age and skill level. The Junior Karate curriculum uses the same core skills and techniques as the Adult Karate students, but Junior students will learn these techniques at a different pace in order to ensure their success. When a student is old enough to move into the Adult Karate program they will be able to jump right in as if they had been there all along.
Our junior students learn how to become better students at school, better listeners at home, and more ambitious towards the future.

In addition to learning Focus, Teamwork, Control, Balance, Memory, Discipline, Fitness and Coordination, the physical martial arts training will also improve their ability to do sports and other activities, much more so than children that do not participate in this type of program.

It will give your child the added benefit of confidence, self-esteem and give them an outlet to channel their energy.
Basic mental and physical self-defense is also addressed so you can have the confidence that your child will know what to do if approached by a stranger, as well as if he/she is being bullied.
